Pink and purple both come in many different shades, vibrance, and patterns, and so no matter what interior design style you’re trying to achieve, a pink and purple rug can be the perfect addition to your room because it can compliment just about any style. When decorating with your pink and purple rug, just remember that any other pinks and purples in the room don’t have to match exactly, nor do you need to smother the entire room in those hues. • Bedrooms: One of the most popular layouts for bedroom rugs is to have it under the bottom ? of the bed and extending outward, but that’s not the only option. You can place it completely under the bed, to the side of it, or have a small rug elsewhere in the bedroom to establish another area, such as a reading nook. 
• Kitchens/Bathrooms: Both of these spaces are a bit more defined because their fixtures are set in place, but you can use a pink and purple rug in these rooms as well. 2x3 rugs work well in front of vanities or sinks, but a pink and purple runner would also work well if you have any narrow pathways, a double vanity, or other high-traffic areas. 
• Outdoors: The style can carry on outside too with a pink and purple area rug by your seating, dining, or elsewhere. 

Size: The size of your rug definitely connects to how you position it and the overall size of the room. For example, think about how the furniture overlaps with the furniture--the size of rug you purchase for a rug completely under the furniture versus a rug that’s only part way beneath it will be different.

Shape: Rectangular and round rugs may be the most common shapes, but pink and purple rugs come in other shapes as well, such as oval, square, octagonal, and more. A uniquely shaped rug can add an air of youthfulness or style to your room, so think about how the shape of the rug helps strike the room’s tone.

Pattern: Purple and pink rugs come in a variety of patterns and designs, from Persian and Oriental to abstract and modern. Since these colors are often feminine, you can also find pink and purple rugs designed for kids with brighter, vibrant colors and beautiful artwork and patterns. 

Shades/Pairings: You may think you’re limited to more juvenile shades of pink and purple, but that’s simply not the case. You can find shades of these colors that are more dusty and well loved, or you can find rich hues that show off class. Plus, you can find other colors paired with the pink and purple, such as white, black, gray, blues, and so much more. Regardless of what interior design style you love, you can find a pink and purple rug that fits that style and conveys the mood you want.
