These luxurious hand knotted carpets are the highest and finest quality of Chobi rugs on the market today. These are hand-knotted by Turkoman Afghan master weavers using locally handspun wool. The beautiful abrash fading and variety of colors and hues is achieved by using vegetable dyes. Chobi area rugs can come in various colors and designs, including the famous Ziegler and William Morris styles. Chobi carpets have a very fine knot, the pile height is cut low and the colors washed to give that faded luminous look. These stately rugs are perfect for traditional, classical and modern decors.
