Classic II is for those who appreciate the quality and workmanship of handmade rugs at affordable prices. Safavieh's Classic II Collection features 19th Century French aubusson designs, as well as famous Persian designs from Tabriz, Kashan, Kerman and Nain. Inspired by Safavieh's own museum quality collections, Classic II collection is made in India of 100% virgin wool pile, hand-tufted to a sturdy cotton backing.

Safavieh Classic II

"The rug is not "Red/Navy" as represented. Also, the color is not accurately shown in the picture provided. The rug is not red, it is maroon, and, while there is some navy in the rug, the green in the rug is much more prominent than the navy. Because of this substantial color difference, I cannot use the rug where I intended to use it. I have kept the rug only because it would be too expensive to ship it back."

Good Purchase.

"Nice rug, very thick, color good. The only problem, I ordered the rug in January and received it the end of April. I called several times to check on back order, thought they should have contacted me. I do like my rug, just had to wait."

Nice Rug, Good Deal

"This is a really nice rug for an excellent price. My only real complaints are that it is not quite as soft as I hoped and it is not quite as bright as the photos show. However, it still feels nice on the feet and the colors still go with everything we have in the room. It just feels a smidge darker than I would have expected from the brightness of the pictures on the website. "
