Mahal is hand-tufted in India from fine wool. These beautiful reproductions of traditional Persian designs are hand tufted and washed in our special "luster wash", which enhances the colors and gives the patina an exceptional sheen.

Rich & Elegant
"I had a difficult time finding a wool rug with purple colors that wasn't a floral pattern. Found this one and it is just what I looking for. I would say the purple is more a plum color than lavender but none the less, it is rich and elegant. Touches of maroon add to the richness. It is thick and very well made. I love it!"

Good But Color Is Described Incorrectly
"So I can't complain a bit about the quality of this rug, it is thick and plush. The colors however are another story. This rug is NOT lavender or muted purple like the other reviews say, it is very deep wine color. When it arrived I thought I had been shipped the wrong rug, but the numbers match and the pattern is the same. If you order it, know that all the colors are darker then shown. There is also a lot more green and red in the detailing then is shown in the picture. This is a very bold rug"

"Our sales representative was extremely helpful. When our rug was delivered damaged, he allowed us to use a rug from the store until the replacement was delivered. In addition, when it was time to return the loaned rug, he allowed us to purchase it, at our request, on two installments. Even though we paid for the rug in one payment, it was extraordinary since there was no credit plan available.
