"I had been looking for quite some time for a tan & black rug like this, the color was the only thing about this product that was not disappointing. It is VERY thin, poor quality, and extremely overpriced for what you receive. The Oriental Weavers Sphinx Portico I is the class of rug you would find for $19.95 at your local “mega-retail” store. Buyer Beware!"

"I was pleased when I received the rug one week from ordering. The beige interior has a subtle geometric design, and the black border is a nice, updated feature. When I compare this rug to my previous hand-tufted rug, the quality is not as good. This rug is thinner and the loops are further apart. Because there is no pattern, the dirt shows up much more quickly. But, having said that, I am still pleased with the overall look. I do not regret ordering this rug.

"This rug was bought for its simplicity and value. However, we've found as the sunlight shines on it, it smells very chemical or burning like. Not sure a small house wouldn't be totally overpowered by this. I'm hoping it goes away but it's already been a few weeks."

"I have two. One in front of the sink and one at the back door. They are good "catchers", don't show dirt and are comfortable underfoot. So far they've been easy to care for, shake out easily and vaccum nicely. A really nice rug."

"I recently replaced my carpet with hardwood floors. I was looking for something that I could use in more than one room to give some continuity to my decor. I purchased these rugs in various sizes for use in a bedroom, kitchen and hallway. They worked well in each room. They work very well on the hardwood floors if a non- skid pad is used with them. The quality is better than on-line pictures represent."

"I was looking for a rug with a natural or natural looking fiber with a black border to place under our dinette table. Sisal or jute I found out is not a good choice for under a table where spills might occur. I saw a rug in Pottery Barn that I liked but by the time I saw it they had quit carrying it. So I saw this rug at a carpet showroom one day and it was exactly what I was looking for. This rug is made for the outside and looks like a natural fiber. It is heavy quality and not flimsy. I order"
