"We were not sure it would be what we hoped it would be, but are very, very happy. It is great quality, comfortable, and sets off our dining room very nicely. I was able to track its progress after it was shipped and it arrived on time. The color of the center area has a little more green tone to it rather than beige, but it still works as we needed. "The colors were true to the photo and look very rich. The central area varies in color from light to dark as walking changes the direction of the grain. This variegation actually adds to the character of the rug, which is much more interesting than a traditional oriental. It is also very comfortable underfoot. "Finally a rug I am happy with. You don't have to spend thousands to have a tasteful, lovely area rug. The colors are true and rich and the softness is great. I have a thin pad underneath which is perfect because the rug itself is thick and plush. This rug gives just the amount of contemporary edge to an otherwise traditional space. The lighter green in the center keeps it from being too dark. You won't be disappointed with this rug."

"We have had these area rugs now for 4 years. We have 2 dogs and are walking on these rugs every day.
They clean up great with stains and just daily dirt. We have spot cleaned and shampooed and they still look like the day we bought them.
I do recommend this company (I believe it is Sphinx) and the Generations. A lot of the Generations colors blend from style to style. We have this particular one in our family room in 2 sizes, a dressier one of similar colors in the dining room and a kitcheny one"

"I have purchases this rug based on reviews that said that it had nice colors. Colors is the one aspect of this rug I was very disappointed with. The mixing of the dark burgundy with earthy green is not very nice and the burgundy part of the color is very, very dark (darker than I expected). The spotty design (where you see green on the light burgundy parts) is not that appealing to me. The green is also darker than I expected.

I do think, however, that on an exchange (I needed a larger one) there should not be shipping/handling charges . It cost me almost $20.00 to size up.
