I always loved shag rugs and I love colors so when this lime green one came I was excited. It was perfect. It was all I ever wanted for my living room. It was modern, cozy, pretty and overall, awesome. I love it. I'm going to get the red one too. Can't wait.
I ordered one before and it was a dark green. I had to order another one because I have a large space and the one that came in was a different color! This one looked like it was bleached! Yuck! It is not a lime green color at all, but a very pale washed out green color. I am very disappointed. Also, there are SEVERAL spots in the rug that have defects. I trip over areas where strands of carpet are stretched from one end to the other and need to be snipped with scissors. Sheds horribly!
I ordered two of these for my living room for my kids to lay on and and watch TV. The same exact two that I ordered are two DIFFERENT colors! I am so mad! One is a dark pea green color and the other is a bright lime green color. That is totally inexcusable in my book!I have wanted a shag for a long time and fell in love with the lime color on here. The sizes they offer are too small for my space so I ordered two in hopes that I can sew them together. I can't do that now because they don't match!
It is a long shag rug which makes it really comfortable and soft but if you have hard floors you definitely need to purchase a pad. I have this rug in my tiled living room and without padding. It feels like sitting on a bedsheet. The color is true to the picture shown. It is easy to pick up and brush off. The first night we had it, my daughter dropped a slice of pizza on it and the mess wiped right up, thankfully!
The rug color isn't exactly the same as pictured. Instead of lime it looks more pea-green.
